Devil’s Claw is primarily known for use in arthritis; It reduces inflammation and is analgesic in joints and connective tissue. It can be used for long term joint pain or new joint pain and help reduce chronic muscle pain, such as is found in fibromyalgia. It helps pain from overuse as well .
Devil’s Claw also increases gastric digestive enzymes, thus aiding in protein and fat digestion. It has been known to help reduce cholesterol and uric acids in the blood, which can lead to gout.
