Horsetail is a urinary diuretic that will flush the urinary system. It is indicated in urinary tract infections, and it reduces blood in the urine as a hemostatic urinary herb. It also helps to rebuild the connective or structural tissue in the kidneys and can assist in the elimination of kidney stones.
Horsetail is known of the highest silica containing herb; silica can help nails, hair and tissue. It also facilitates the absorption of Calcium; therefore, Horsetail can also help broken bones heal and help osteoporosis
CONTRA-INDICATIONS AND CAUTIONS:
Cardiac or renal dysfunction.
